Lina has received awards for her writings and books. She has also taken an initiative regarding literature for children with the Qatar Forum for Authors 2020 with the aim of raising children's minds and imagination and to enrich their creative language, as well as improving the creative content that is presented to them in a way that strongly supports children's spiritual education. As a story writer, Lina still feels like a child from within, and that’s probably why she writes stories for children.

She started writing for the kids to participate in the Children’s Literature Award. After that, she released two books with Rosa Publishing House and three stories with Hamad Bin Khalifa Publishing House. Her books include “Adeedah Hababa", "The Book with Legs", "Desert Rose", and "Al Yarawa". her latest book includes six historical stories.

Lina has been painting for such a long time that she now has her own signature style which sets her art apart from other artists. She uses acrylic colours most of the time, but you can sometimes find her paintings done in charcoal or leas as well.

Lina's message for emerging artists is that the first thing they should do is adopt a style that's specific to them, and not copy a style that is someone else's They should try a number of different art forms and methods to find their own style. She believes it's important to be able to convince yourself about something, or you won't be able to convince other people either.

Lina is full of praise for artists in Qatar because they have been spreading positivity through their art and for His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani ever since the blockade started in June 2017. This is what she told Workinton:

“Qatar is like a mother for us. We all belong to it. As an artist, I continue to spread a positive message among the community by painting to show how Qatar is avoiding the bad words used against it by the blockading countries. We are not responding to the bad words on social media. Our response has been that we love Qatar and the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani more.”
